hope you enjoy this. Doris Beck Wittkorn
Every ten years, as summertime nears,
I'll never forget the first time we met,
It was quite an affair; the whole class was there.
The men all conversed about who had been first
The homecoming queen, who once had been lean,
No one had heard about the class nerd
The boy we'd decreed "most apt to succeed"
They awarded a prize to one of the guys
They took a class picture, a curious mixture
At our next get-together, no one cared whether
It was held out-of-doors, at the lake shores;
By the fortieth year, it was abundantly clear,
And now I can't wait as they've set the date,
Repairs have been made on my old hearing aid,
I'm feeling quite hearty; I'm ready to party, Author Unknown

One of the really marvelous things about this reunion project is hearing
people's stories - connecting. Of course there are the details of education, work, and family, but there is
also that wonderful sense of a person that can be conveyed in a prose meandering. We hope that you will
consider writing something that conveys something about your sense of your life. Think of it as a letter to a
lost friend now found and please let us post it on the web site. - Lois Addison
